He was born on September 1, 2002, in Kfar Saba, to his parents Ossi and Guy Provizor. Brother to Orin, Shiran, and Idan. He was raised and educated in the community settlement of Alfei Menashe.
Eden was an outstanding athlete, practicing martial arts, and was an excellent student at Mosinson High School in Hod Hasharon.
He enlisted on November 29, 2020, in the Armored Corps, where he completed all stages of training until being commissioned as an armored officer.
According to testimonies from his commander and his company comrades, Eden acted with great courage and sought engagement at every opportunity—whether on the offensive, when he charged forward with his tank and eliminated a company commander in the Shati refugee camp, or on the defensive, risking his life in operations to rescue a fellow soldier’s tank.
Eden dreamed of continuing a military career and of continuing to act in defense of the homeland.
During the “Swords of Iron” war, he was chosen as an officer who led Battalion 52 and Brigade 401. He served as the leading tank with great bravery for 23 days, until his fall on November 18, 2023, when he led the battalion in a breach into Jabalia during the ground maneuver in the Gaza Strip, where he was hit by an anti-tank missile.
He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Alfei Menashe.
A few days before his fall, in a phone conversation, he dictated farewell notes to his father for his friends and said to him: “I want you to know that I am proud of what I am doing, and even if something happens to me, then it happens and everything is okay. I am on the mission of my life, protecting the Land of Israel. When it is all over and my friends tell you what I did here, you will be very proud of me… I had a good life, a full and excellent life. Know that I loved you.”
His family writes: “The purity of your love and your humility will light our path forever. Your absence is felt and will be felt by all who knew you.”
May his memory be a blessing.
