He lives in Jerusalem and is a graduate of the “Tov V’Yafeh” School of Art and Design and of the Department of Visual Communication and Art at “Emuna” College.
For the past decade, he has been working in graphic design, illustration, and animation, combining in his work a deep love for typography, calligraphy, lettering, and font design.
For as long as he can remember, he has been drawn to visual creation — drawing, illustrating, and shaping letters. Perhaps this comes from the influence of his father, who studied sacred Hebrew script (Stam), or simply from the magic within the form of the Hebrew letter itself.
He designed the Ot.Hayim memorial project font based on the handwriting of Rani Tahan, as part of the “HaFonton” font design course.
The process of creating the font was a deeply moving and meaningful experience — a rare opportunity to give new life to Rani’s handwriting and to commemorate his unique spirit through the letters.
