Eitan Fish was born on the 11th of Nisan 5760 (April 16, 2000), in the settlement of Peduel in Samaria.
Fourth among eight siblings, and uncle to eight nephews and nieces, he was a role model and inspiration.
Before and during his military service, he studied at the Hesder Yeshiva in Yeruham. In 2019, he volunteered to join the Armored Corps with a fighting spirit. He then continued to the Officers’ Course and completed it with professionalism.
Eitan was talented in painting, playing music, a Torah scholar, sociable, and modest.
He was a professional and brave officer, with quiet leadership that swept his soldiers after him in their admiration for him.
He went into battle with a sense of mission to carry out the required tasks, feeling that all of Israel was behind him.
Eitan was a platoon commander in the Armored Corps, who led his tank in battle in Shejaiya. On Monday, December 4, 2023, in the afternoon, the tank was hit by an anti-tank missile. Eitan, along with two of his soldiers – Tuval Tzan’ani and Yakir Shenkolevsky, were killed on the spot. May their memory be a blessing.
