Guy, son of Levana and Uri, brother to Shir and Rotem, brother-in-law to Itzik, and uncle to Agam and Noy. Lived in Rishon LeZion.
Guy was the youngest son and still lived at home. The house was always open and full of friends. He was a good and beloved friend, with a big smile, “the life of the party.” His friends say he always made sure to lift their spirits, encourage, and compliment them. Giving was in his blood; he wanted everyone around him to be happy.
He was a very creative and talented child, drawing, sculpting, writing, and loving football and boxing. Guy was into fashion and dreamed of opening a business. He loved celebrating life and lived each day as if it were his last.
Guy went out with five friends in a car to the “Nova” Party he had been looking forward to. They managed to dance, have fun, and upload photos. He told a friend he met there: “Until the missiles started, this is the best party I’ve ever been to in my life.”
When everything began, they were all still together and started fleeing in the car. Guy was calm and made sure to send WhatsApp messages to friends he met at the party to check on them and reassure them. He also managed to talk to his family and said everything was fine. After a few minutes of driving, they encountered a terrorist pickup truck in front of them. At that moment, the five split up. Ben Hasid and Moshe Saadian, who were with him in the car, were murdered. Two survived…
Guy was initially classified as missing, then as kidnapped, until it was updated that he was found on Route 232 without signs of life.
Almost 1000 people attended his funeral! “My little brother Guy…” his sister Shir eulogized. “How hard it is for me to lose you… I want to thank you for 23 years in which you were a loving brother, hugging, asking questions, teasing, asking me to cook you tasty things, consulting, advising, making me laugh, and simply being my little brother… and my heart is broken and hurting. We will remember and love you forever, I promise.”
