Daughter of Rachel Michal and Yaakov Gabai, sister to Aviel and Nitzan. Grew up in Yokne’am.
Shani had an endless joy for life and happiness, was opinionated and independent. She seized every moment and lived life to the fullest. Shani lived her life according to the quote she believed in – NO TIME FOR DRAMA.
She traveled almost everywhere she wanted, and alone!!! How brave she was, traveling for two-three months at a time, each time to a different place – India, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica.
She fulfilled almost all of her dreams, studied for a bachelor’s degree in law which she completed with honors.
Shani was loved and surrounded by friends from a young age. Everyone found common ground with her and wanted to be near her from the moment they met her.
Shani had a pitbull dog named Alpha who was like her baby, and she truly loved him with all her heart.
She was a ray of sunshine, the happiest, most flourishing, at the peak of her life. She lived life intensely, without thinking about what tomorrow would bring.
On October 7th, Shani finished her work as a selector at the Nova Party. After 47 days of being classified as missing, it was discovered that she was murdered in an ambulance on the day of the Party.
May her memory be a blessing.
