Our beloved Aviya was murdered on Simchat Torah, October 7, 2023, at the Party in Kibbutz Re’im.
She grew up in Kfar Saba and lived in Zufim for the past ten years. She was the eldest of two sisters and a brother, whom she deeply loved.
Aviya was a light.
She had the ability to love simply and fully. She could look at people with kindness, depth, and sensitivity. She brought joy to people and made them feel loved, beautiful, and empowered.
She loved yoga, hula hooping, sunsets, the sea, and stopping for coffee breaks in nature.
She served in the army as a highly regarded Iron Dome instructor. After a long trip to South America, she never stopped thinking about how to continue growing and developing.
From a young age, she sought her unique path in the world.
She never gave up on her truth, her freedom, or her liberty to live her life the way she wanted and believed, with fullness and joy, along with deep respect and connection to the spiritual place from which she came.
Aviya had the ability to give unconditional love and connect people and different worlds in a special way.
On her tombstone, we wrote: ” I hereby vow to love unconditionally.”
She was 22 years old when she was murdered.
