born on May 7, 1995, in Ofakim, was the son of Inbar and Eyal and the brother of Adi, Shani, and Or. He was married to Ligal and the father of little Lehi.
From 2009 to 2013, he attended the Kanot Youth Village, drawn to studies in police work and criminology, and played soccer with the Maccabi Kanot team. Known for his dedication and warm smile, he was hardworking, peacekeeping, and beloved by all. After graduating, Michael attended a pre-military preparatory program in Hazor HaGlilit, served as a fighter in the Golani reconnaissance unit, and later fulfilled his dream of serving as a detective in the Be’er Sheva police station.
Michael, the only son among three sisters, was remembered as the kindest child—a helpful, respectful son, brother, husband, father, dedicated police officer, and loyal friend.
On the morning of Simchat Torah, October 7, 2023, sirens in Ofakim woke Michael and his wife. Upon hearing nearby gunfire, he urged his family to stay in the secure room, lock the doors and windows, then grabbed his gun and ran toward the source of the shooting to protect his home. Michael fell heroically defending his family on October 7, 2023, at the age of 28.
He is deeply missed. May his memory be blessed forever.
