The middle daughter of Sigal and Erez, sister to Ofir and Eyal. She was born on July 18, 2003, and grew up in Mabu’im.
Noa was full of joy and energy. She was active and involved—participated in dance and music classes, and was both a camper and a counselor in the Union of Agricultural Youth. She loved music, movies, and theater, especially Taylor Swift and Little Women.
She dreamed of studying, traveling the world, enjoying life, and doing good in the world. She dreamed of family and close friends—and without a doubt, she would have excelled at that too.
Noa enlisted in the IDF on January 23, 2022, and served as a lookout (Tatzpitaniyit) at the Nahal Oz base. Like many of her peers, she was hesitant about the position at first, but after reading, researching, and understanding its importance, she came to terms with the assignment and enlisted—driven, as always, to succeed in every challenge she faced.
At the end of her training, she left a strong impression on her commanders, as she did in every framework she was part of, and proudly received her commander’s beret with a dedication that read: “The light in your heart will overcome any obstacle on the way to your goal.” That sentence guided her during her service—and continues to guide us in remembering her.
Noa was stationed at the Nahal Oz post near the Gaza border. She served with great pride, believing deeply in the role and in herself. She aimed to be as professional and operationally strong as possible—and she was. Even in regular service, Noa carried out her duties with excellence and professionalism, inspiring her fellow soldiers, her commanders, and the new recruits—whom she treated warmly so they’d feel at home and perform their best.
She was killed on October 7, 2023, at the Nahal Oz base, along with her fellow soldiers, about three months before her scheduled release from the army. Hamas terrorists infiltrated the base while she and her friends were sheltering inside a reinforced room.
With her death, her own dreams—and those of all who loved her—were lost.
