born and raised in Moshav Idan in the Arava.
The son of Moshe and Michal, brother to Nitzan, Ron, and Kalil, brother-in-law to Dudi, uncle to Or, and partner to Ofir.
He studied at Shitim Dror High School, was both a camper and counselor in the Bnei HaMoshavim youth movement, and a participant in the Derech P’rat program. Before his military service, he attended the Sufa pre-military academy, named after Hadar Goldin z”l.
Ohad was full of life and energy — someone who constantly sought new challenges and pushed his own limits. He loved sports, especially running.
He never missed a chance to create memories, make new friends, and explore Israel, while maintaining a deep connection to his desert home.
Ohad was the person everyone loved being around — warm, uplifting, and grounding. He had the rare ability to make each person feel seen and special.
He lived fully in every moment, balancing ambition with gratitude, seriousness with playfulness, and courage with humility.
In November 2021, Ohad enlisted in the Sayeret Shaldag elite unit, joining Team Gutman, and completed the grueling training course just months before that dark day.
On Simchat Torah weekend, while on standby with his unit, Hamas launched its brutal attack. Ohad’s team was the first military force to reach Kibbutz Be’eri.
He fell in battle there on October 7, 2023.
May his memory be blessed.
