Adi, a fighter in the Tzabar Battalion of Givati, Spearhead Platoon, was killed in northern Gaza Strip on October 31st, 2023 in the Namer (APC) disaster. He was 20 years old at the time of his death.
Adi was born and raised in the community settlement of Nili. Adi left behind parents, Amir and Nurit, and 2 sisters, Zohar (18) and Ori (10).
Adi, or as we used to call him Adidush or Adidi, was a young man full of life, with a constant smile on his face, with many, many friends. The life of the party.
Adi was a graduate of the Maccabi Tzair Youth Movement, and his big dream was to perform on world stages with the electronic music he created in his studio in the backyard.
Adi was a Zionist in heart and soul, and when he enlisted, it was clear to him that it would only be for combat service and there was no other option.
On October 7th, he was called up from leave back to base directly into heavy fighting in Kfar Aza, engaging in clearing the settlement and rescuing families while surrounded by unbearable sights.
On October 27th, the ground invasion of Gaza began, and Adi was in the first APC (Spearhead Platoon of the Tzabar Battalion) that entered the Strip with Givati’s infantry forces.
Adi left behind a notebook with a farewell letter on which he wrote in his handwriting “To be read after my death” and there he dedicated farewell letters to us parents, to his sisters, to his friends, and to the country.
“I have no other country and now it’s my turn to defend it… This is the education my parents gave me, this is what I believe in, I hope you’ll remember me, Adi…” (Quote from his letter).
We will forever remember Adi, his constant smile, and his love for the country.
